Before troubleshooting, make sure you are using the latest version of UPS Power Monitor.
UPS Power Monitor supports UPS devices connected to Synology NAS over USB.
Follow these steps to enable the UPS network server in Synology DSM:

Open Control Panel.

Go to Hardware & Power.

Select the UPS tab.

Select the checkbox next to Enable network UPS server.

Click Permitted Synology NAS devices.

Enter your Mac's IP address. Your Mac should have a static IP address or a DHCP reservation; otherwise, this setting will need to be updated whenever your Mac gets a new IP address.

Click OK.

In UPS Power Monitor, enter the Synology NAS IP address and NUT port (default: 3493), then click Save.

If required, use ups as the UPS Server Username, then click Save again.

To connect to a NUT server running on QNAP NAS, follow these steps:

Open Control Panel -> System -> External Device -> UPS.

Click Add and enter your Mac's IP address. Your Mac should have a static IP address or a DHCP reservation; otherwise, this setting will need to be updated whenever your Mac gets a new IP address.

Enter the QNAP IP address and keep the default port number, then click Save.

If required, use qnapups as the UPS Server Username, then click Save again.

Click Save.
